The M1128 Mobile Gun System was an 8-wheeled armored vehicle from the Stryker family based on the Canadian LAV-III. Equipped with a rotating turret with a 105 mm cannon with an automatic reloading system, the MGS was intended to replace the M551 Sheridan. With a 350 hp engine, it could reach speeds of up to 96 km/h. The MGS was retired by the U.S. Army in 2022.
